Barack Obama to Visit India again in December.

Former US President Barack Obama will visit India and host a Town Hall in New Delhi on 1 December to interact with young Indians. In the event organised by the Obama Foundation, the two-time US President will take questions from the attendees and will expand the conversation about “what it means to be an active citizen and make an impact.”

The Town Hall will be also be webcast live on the Obama Foundation website, a statement said.

Obama hosted similar events this year in Germany, Indonesia and Brazil.

Describing India’s under 35 years old as “an engaged and passionate generation” the Town Hall will focus on the work of young Indian leaders and its benefits to the world.
As one of the most culturally, religiously, linguistically, and ethnically diverse nations on earth, India’s democracy shows us the collective strength of engagement within and across communities.
