Kingston announced(2009) the launch of new 256 GB Data Traveler® 300 USB flash drive after the one month gap of 128GB launched in 200 series. Data Traveler 300 is the world’s first 256 GB USB flash drive. The new Kingston 256 GB flash drive looks stylish and its features a password protection for saving up to 90% of the drives content. Its transfer rates of up to 20 MB/sec. read and 10 MB/sec. write speed. Now, user may carry up to 51,000 images, 54 DVDs (365 CDs) or approximately 10 Blu-ray movies of data in one traveler device.
